Be Bold was built on more than 13 years of experience across ethical business, social enterprise, and nonprofit management, and one lesson runs through all of it: generosity is reciprocal. When we give donors purpose, clarity, and connection, they give back with commitment, passion, and resources that fuel impact.

As General Manager of Parramatta Mission and Managing Director of Thread Harvest, our founder, Davyn de Bruyn, developed and executed strategies that grew profit-for-purpose organisations, exceeded fundraising targets, and secured significant partnerships with corporates, foundations, and major donors.

Today, at Be Bold Fundraising, we help nonprofits strengthen their major gift fundraising through practical, donor-centred strategies that deepen relationships, grow revenue, and create long-term sustainability.

## Davyn de Bruyn

Founder and Lead Consultant

Davyn has spent more than 13 years across ethical business, social enterprise and nonprofit leadership, including roles as Strategic Relationship Manager at WorldShare Australia, General Manager of Parramatta Mission and Managing Director of Thread Harvest.

He started Be Bold Fundraising to give purpose driven organisations a partner who walks alongside them, building genuine, long term relationships with the people who care most about their work.

Outside of work, you’ll find him on the tennis court or out on a trail run.
